Addon module install

1. In the downloaded file you might find one or two packages that support different PHP versions.

In the most recent versions of the module, you will find only one package that supports PHP 7.4.

2. Extract the package and upload its content into the main WHMCS directory.

The content of the package to upload should look like this.

3. Now you have to activate the module in your WHMCS system.

Log in to your WHMCS admin area. Go to 'WHMCS Admin Area' → 'System Settings' → 'Addon Modules' . Afterwards, find 'VPS Reseller Module' and press the 'Activate' button.

4. In the next step you need to configure VPS Reseller Module.

Log in to your WHMCS admin area. Go to 'WHMCS Admin Area' → 'System Settings' → 'Addon Modules' . Afterwards, find 'VPS Reseller Module' and press the 'Configure' button.

  • In order to configure addon module you need to get API credentials.

    To do so you need to login to Hostafrica.com or Could.co.za based where your client is registered.
    Then you press on 'Services' -> 'VPS Reseller' -> 'API CREDENTIALS' -> 'Generate new API Credentials' image *Please note if you don't see 'VPS Reseller' tab that mean you need to purchase 'Reseller Basic' product from Hostafrica.com or Cloud.co.za

    Once you press on 'Generate new API Credentials'. Your API credentials will be generated.

    After your API credentials is generated you can paste it in your WHMCS 'VPS Reseller' addon module. Plus you need to select your provider it can be Hostafrica.com or Could.co.za based where your client is registered. And you can select what Admin roles can access this module. After everything is done your module configuration must look like this: image

    So now you can press on 'Save Changes', and your module configuration is done.


5. Addon Module setup.

Once all steps above are completed. You can proceed with Module Setup.
